Ideal for children's association events, parent-child events, hands-on learning at elementary, middle, and high schools, and events at facilities and companies!

We will come to your designated location.

Please contact us as soon as possible after you have decided on a date and time, as we are very busy from June to October.

Small to large groups of up to 300 people

It is ideal for children's association events, parent-child events at elementary and junior high schools, hands-on learning, facilities, and company events.

◆We will travel to the designated venue. Please make arrangements for the venue. We'll bring all the tools, etc.!

◆The standard number of instructors dispatched is 1 (8,000 yen) for up to 20 participants.
・We recommend two instructors for approximately 21 to 60 people, and three to four instructors for more than that!
(However, the number of instructors can be adjusted according to your budget.)

◆The number of participants can range from a small group to about 300.

◆For a child's fee (500g), you can make one teacup, mug, rice bowl, or single flower vase.

◆Fired in an authentic kerosene kiln at a high temperature of 1,250 degrees Celsius. It can be used as daily tableware (microwave oven OK).

◆For parent-child events, adults may use the service at the child rate (1,500 yen).

◆You can freely choose the color from 22 different glazes.

◆Baking will take about three months, and there will be no charge for those who come to pick up their work.

 

If you prefer home delivery, we will send it to you at an extra charge. The delivery fee varies depending on the area and weight. Please contact us for details.

Flow of exit class

1. Reservations

・Please call us and tell us the name of your group, date, time, number of people, and location.
・You can confirm or change the number of participants even one week before the trial date.
・Please make reservations as soon as possible, especially on weekends and holidays in June, July, and August.
・Once you have decided on a date and time, please make an appointment first.
・After you make a reservation, we will send you a confirmation of your reservation and a list of names and flyers.

2. Venue Arrangement

・Please make your own arrangements for the venue (gymnasium, community center, etc.) on the day of the event.

3. The day before the experience

・Manpugama will call you for final confirmation.

4. On the day of the experience

・The list of participants will be sent to you in advance from Manpugama, so please bring it with you.
・Please bring your own apron and hand towels.
・Arrive at the venue 30 minutes before the start of the event to prepare.
・We will show you how to make it in about 15 minutes with a sample.
・You will experience pottery making under the guidance of an instructor.
・When you have finished your work, choose a color and fill in your name tag, and you are done.

5. The process in the studio after the experience

・I carefully carve and finish each piece I bring back to my studio.
・Allow it to dry for about two weeks.
・First firing in the kiln, bare firing at 750℃ for 9 hours.
・Each piece is hand colored and fired in the kiln for the second time at 1250℃ for about 20 hours.
・The kiln is allowed to cool for two days before being fired.
・Use sandpaper to finish the base of the work (the part of the bottom that touches the table).
・Each group will be carefully packaged and sent separately.
※If you are unable to come to the studio to pick up your finished work, you will be charged the actual shipping fee.
※The work is wrapped tightly with the artist's name on the back, and a name tag card is attached to it, so that you can easily identify the work without opening it.
