I have made a mug, a chopstick rest, and a chopstick rest in the Tebineri course. I was instructed by a woman, who was very polite and easy to understand. There were so many different types of coloring to choose from after the modeling that I was lost! We also had the option of adding broken glass to the bottom or transferring the glass to the surface, which was fun until the end. We were told that we would be notified of the finished product by fax or postcard. I don't have a fax machine at home, so I asked for a postcard. I hope to have the opportunity to enjoy this event again.

My husband and I participated in this event with our two-year-old child.
There were so many participants that there were times when we didn't know what to do next, so it would be nice if the instructor would call out to us in more detail.
However, my two-year-old son was able to enjoy creating without blaming me for his lack of concentration and clumsiness.
I was able to choose from white, mixed, and red clay colors, and the amount of clay was perfect, so I was satisfied with my work.

On the day of the workshop, coincidentally, there were no other customers, and I was given one-on-one instruction. I had an image that it would be difficult to use an electric wheel, but thanks to his guidance, I was able to do it very well!(^^)
The colors, shapes, and a wide variety of options such as design transfer and glass insertion are also very attractive.

It was my first time and I didn't know how to do it, so I just made a reservation at Tebini and went there.
I wasn't sure what I wanted to make, but I was able to choose from samples and make whatever I wanted.
If I ever get a chance to stop by again, I might just make another one!
The smiles on their faces were soothing.

My first pottery class

I participated in this workshop with my second-grade child. I was worried about my son's clumsiness, but he was taught carefully, and with a little help, we were able to enjoy the experience. It was a great memory for me because my son was so absorbed in making it and seemed to enjoy it. I can't wait for his work to arrive! This was my first time, and I would like to try the potter's wheel next time. There were many options to choose from, including clay, color, and many more. At the end, we even took a commemorative photo!...(^^)Next time I will go in spring when the snow has melted.

My daughter was a little nervous when she tried it out, but the gentle way the staff talked to her, their cheerful personalities, and the quality of their upbringing helped her to enjoy it right away. I'm not very good with my hands, but with the careful and easy-to-understand instruction, I felt like I was finished before I knew it. She also listened to my detailed requests, and I'm sure I'll be able to finish it the way I want. During the work, I received a lot of compliments, but because she was so good at giving compliments, I thought she was probably flattered, but I felt good about the work. I wasn't particularly looking for healing, but the location combined with the work made me feel very relaxed while I was working. Also, if you are indecisive, you might get lost at the site because there are so many choices, from the type of clay to the color of glaze to the optional glass and transfer stickers. I had actually planned not to add any options, but when I saw the samples on site, I couldn't resist adding them. I was told that it will take about two months to complete the work, but I am sure that the finishing touches will be done and I am looking forward to receiving the work. This time I made it for myself, but since they offer a free service to put your name in katakana on the bottom, it might be more suitable for a gift.
